Apples, the Perfect Snack

1     Apples might be the perfect snack. Do you like your apples sweet or tart? Do you like them red, yellow, or green? With more than seventeen kinds at the market, the choice is yours!
 
2     Apples can be fresh, canned, or frozen. They can be eaten raw or cooked. Apple juice and cider make delicious drinks. You can have apple pie or cake. Apples are used in many desserts. You can eat applesauce or fried apples. You might enjoy apple jelly on your toast. Try some cooked apples on top of oatmeal. Yum!
