¹     What causes gravity? How do microwaves work? Why is our physical world the way it is? What would a spaceship need to travel to a distant planet? Physicists work to answer these, and other, questions.

²     Physicists are scientists who study the natural world. They study what things are made of: matter. They study how things move and the forces that make them move. They study the smallest pieces of atoms. They study large galaxies in deep space. They also study energy. How does it change from one form to another? Can man create a new form of energy?
