¹     "A jelly bean that tastes like dirt? Yuck!" Marie said as her friend Brendan held out a box of multi-colored jelly beans.
 
²     Brendan laughed. Marie didn't like gross things. He loved to tease her.
 
³     "Why not? It's pretty funny how these jelly beans really taste like other things."
 
⁴     "Not interested," Marie said, putting her nose up in the air.
 
⁵     "Suit yourself," Brendan said. "I think I'll try this one that is supposed to taste like buttered popcorn."
 
⁶     "Buttered popcorn?" Marie said, suddenly interested.
 
⁷     "Yep. " Brendan said, while still savoring the taste. "It's yummy."
 
⁸     Marie grabbed the box from Brendan. "Are the yellow ones the ones that taste like buttered popcorn?"
 
⁹     "I'm not sure. They are all different flavors."
