Justin Timberlake - From Mouseketeer to Pop Star
By Jane Runyon

1     The Mickey Mouse Club debuted in late November of 1955. The Walt Disney Company decided to market a television show just for kids. It featured boys and girls who could sing, dance, and act. Several of the original Mouseketeers on the show went on to careers in the entertainment field. The original show lasted four years.

2     Some twenty years later, The Mickey Mouse Club had a revival on television. Again, young people with talent were showcased. Again, some of the Mouseketeers went on to gain success in the entertainment field. One future Mouseketeer hadn't even been born when the revival went on TV.

3     Justin Randall Timberlake was born on January 11, 1981. Justin's grandfather was a Baptist minister. The home Justin was born into was a reflection of his grandfather's teachings.
