1 Over forty percent of U.S. teens report that they have been the target of cyberbullying. Who are cyberbullies? Cyberbullies humiliate, embarrass, or hurt other people by using websites, emails, text messages, and cell phones. Both girls and boys can be cyberbullies. Boys start at an earlier age, but by the time kids reach junior high school, more cyberbullying is done by girls. Bullies like to control things. Some don't like their victims. Some want revenge.
