¹ Want to make a bet? I'll bet you $10 that I can guess one bill that you do not have in your wallet. Do we have a deal? Good. I bet that you do not have a $100,000 bill in your wallet.

² Did you know that $100,000 bills really do exist? It's true! In 1934, 42,000 of these gigantic bills were printed. The $100,000 bills, which had a picture of President Woodrow Wilson on them, were never used -- or even seen -- by ordinary citizens. They were, instead, used to transfer large sums of money from one bank to another. Different branches of the government also used the bills to transfer money. The Federal Reserve soon decided that it was easier to just keep written records of transfers than it was to actually pass bills back and forth. .....
