1 I love to swim. It's one of my favorite things to do on a hot summer day. I'm excited to go swimming this summer, but I'm even more excited to watch swimming! I'm going to watch the swimming events in the Summer Olympics. When Olympic swimmers are trying to win a medal, they don't splash around in their best friend's pool like I do. They compete in an indoor pool. It is fifty meters long. Male swimmers and female swimmers compete in different events. Sometimes they swim by themselves. These are called individual events. During other events they work together as a team. These are known as relays. Four swimmers from each team take turns swimming during a relay. It's not easy to become .....![]() |
