Cuba - Geography

1     What is your favorite food? Do you like vegetables? What about meat? Do you like sandwiches? Maybe a hamburger is your favorite. A lot of people like sweet foods like cakes, pies, and candy. Do you like sweets? Can you think of your favorite candy or dessert? Now try to imagine a world with no sweet foods at all. No desserts, no candy, no sweet drinks or sodas. Would you like that world? Probably not!
 
2     Of course, you can eat too much sugar, however it is an important part of some of the foods you eat. You can find sugar in many foods all around you. For many years, there was one country that supplied most of the world's sugar. That country is Cuba.
 
3     Cuba is an island nation. It is located in the Caribbean Sea. The Caribbean Sea, and Cuba, is located between the southeastern United States, Central America, and South America's northeastern coast. Cuba is one of many islands in the Caribbean. It is one of the largest Caribbean islands, and the fifteenth largest island in the world. Cuba's capital city is called Havana.
