Florida Fishing
By Tammy Scarbrough

1     After living in Florida for only a few weeks, Billy and his dad decided to take their first fishing trip in the Gulf of Mexico. It was sure to be a day of excitement and adventure. Dad grabbed his tackle box and a couple of fishing rods. Dad packed their lunches, hooked up the boat to the truck, and then they were off.

2     "Dad, do you think I'll catch a shark?" asked Billy.

3     "Son, I don't think I have the right equipment to catch something that big," Dad chuckled. "But I'll bet we will see some creatures we've never seen before."

4     "I sure hope so," Billy said excitedly.

5     While traveling down the road, they noticed a lot of palm trees. It was quite a change from living in Nebraska. The weather was much warmer, too. Once they arrived at their site, they unhooked the boat and set off to catch some big fish.
