The Baby Goes Bump
By Beth Beutler

1     Thump, thump, thump.

2     "What is that noise?" Grandma Wilson thought. It sounded like it might be coming from outside. Perhaps her pet goat was hitting the side of the house with his head. He had done that before!

3     Thump, thump, thump.

4     Grandma Wilson went outside to check. She walked past the chicken pen and cut through the backyard. She said hello to the sheep and almost stepped in an ant pile. She rounded the corner and almost ran into her goat, who was busy digging in the dirt. Since he wasn't near the house, he probably wasn't butting his head on the wall. Grandma Wilson still didn't know where the noise came from.

5     Thump, thump, thump.
