Nonessential Information


Use commas to separate the nonessential information in a sentence.
Nonessential information adds information to a sentence, but doesn't change the meaning of the sentence.

Grandpa Alan, my mom's dad, bought me a birthday present.
I like pancakes, in fact, more than waffles.
