Shelby, Ryan, Justin, Nicole, Taylor, and Olivia each have their own Christmas tree. Each Christmas tree has a different number of candy canes (23, 24, 14, 28, 27, and 15) and a different number of ornaments (45, 25, 28, 38, 49, and 35).

Figure out how many candy canes and ornaments are on each person's Christmas tree.


1.    The Christmas tree with twenty-eight ornaments is not the tree with twenty-three candy canes.

2.    There are no more than forty-eight ornaments on Olivia's Christmas tree.

3.    There are no more than thirty-four ornaments on Taylor's Christmas tree.

4.    There are no more than forty-eight ornaments on Justin's Christmas tree.

5.    Olivia's Christmas tree has four more ornaments than the number of candy canes.

6.    Taylor's Christmas tree has the fewest number of ornaments.

7.    Ryan's Christmas tree is not the tree with twenty-four candy canes. His tree is also not the one with twenty-three candy canes.

8.    The Christmas tree with thirty-eight ornaments is not the tree with twenty-seven candy canes.

9.    The Christmas tree with forty-nine ornaments has twenty-eight candy canes.

10.    Shelby's Christmas tree has thirty-one more ornaments than the number of candy canes.

11.    Justin's Christmas tree has eight more ornaments than the number of candy canes.

12.    Nicole's Christmas tree has the most number of candy canes.

13.    The Christmas tree with twenty-five ornaments is not the tree with twenty-four candy canes.
