3.   Jacob plays saxophone in his school's jazz band. He is a big fan of the Gerry Mulligan Quartet, famous for their cool jazz sound. He collects their recordings. He found a copy of Mulligan's "Disc Jockey Jump" recorded by the Gene Krupa Band in 1947 at an estate sale. He paid $95.61 for the recording that sold for $2.38 in 1947. By what percent had the price of the recording increased?


4.   Brianna's family of four people decided to spend their summer vacation in San Antonio. They went to Six Flags Fiesta Texas on Tuesday which cost them $40.02 per person. On Thursday, they visited Sea World. The fun they had there cost them $50.54 per person. How much money did Brianna's family spend on admission into these two parks?


5.   Rachel asked her mother what she wanted for Mother's Day. Her mother said, "I would like 5.1 times as many flowers as you are old." Rachel is nine years and three months old. How many flowers does her mother want? Round your answer so that Rachel does not have to give his mom only a part of a flower!


6.   Eric is a server at Marcelina's Restaurant in Mountain Springs. He makes $2.36 per hour plus tips. He worked forty-one hours this week and made $248.81 in tips. What was his total income for the week?
