He drove his pickup truck down to the local garden supply yard and purchased 3 truckloads of sand to add to the pit. His truck could carry 600 pounds of sand each time. The sand cost $110 per ton. Originally, it took 18 pickup truck loads to fill the pit. What fraction of the sand had been blown away by the storm?

2.   Analysis by the marketing department of the local minor league baseball team showed that for every fan who bought a hotdog at the ball park, about half that many people bought a bag of popcorn. So far this year, 36,604 people have been to the ballpark, and 5/8 of them bought hotdogs. Based on this information, about how many fans bought popcorn?

6.   Devin has a challenging training regimen. He trains for two hours every other day. Out of these two hours he jogs for 11 minutes, stretches for 6 minutes, sprints for 3 minutes, rides a bicycle for 15 minutes, and lifts weights for 38 minutes. The rest of the time he is resting. What fraction of his training time is spent resting?
