1.   Grace jogged five and a third miles on Saturday. She jogged one and one-fifth miles to the store and one-fifth of a mile to the coffee shop. How many miles did she jog going places other than the store and the coffee shop?

2.   There were five cups of strawberries in a large bowl on the table. After school, James ate half of them. How many cups of strawberries were left in the bowl?

4.   Christopher made punch for the party. He used two and a half cups of pineapple juice, two and a half cups of ginger ale, and three and a half cups of white grape juice. How much liquid did he use in the punch?

5.   Savannah made ten cups of snack mix for the pool party. She used one and a half cups of mixed nuts, one and two-thirds cups of pretzel sticks, and crispy cereal to make the snack mix. How many cups of crispy cereal did she use?

6.   Kevin had seven gallons of water in the refrigerator. Of those, two and one-fourth gallons were spring water and one and one-fourth gallons were filtered water. How many gallons of water were not spring or filtered?

7.   Ashley climbed six and one-fifth feet up the rope. She slid down one and one-fifth feet and then climbed another one and one-fifth feet. How far up the rope did she actually climb?

8.   Brittany is one-fifth of an inch taller than Nicholas. Nicholas is fifty-nine and a half inches tall. How tall is Brittany?

9.   Hunter was fifty-seven and two-thirds inches tall on his birthday this year. Last year on his birthday he was fifty-five and a third inches tall. How much has he grown in the last year?

10.   Jennifer cut ten and three-fourths yards of material. Of those, three and one-sixth yards were yellow and one and two-thirds yards were red. How much material was not yellow or red?
