The newspaper listed the daily high and low temperatures for six cities (Honolulu, Miami, Boston, Orlando, Atlanta, and Anchorage). The high temperatures were: zero degrees Celsius, thirty-two degrees Celsius, fourteen degrees Celsius, negative eight degrees Celsius, twenty-nine degrees Celsius, and thirty-one degrees Celsius. The low temperatures were: sixteen degrees Celsius, ten degrees Celsius, twenty degrees Celsius, negative twelve degrees Celsius, negative eighteen degrees Celsius, and seventeen degrees Celsius.

Figure out the high and low temperature for each city.


1.    The difference between Boston's low temperature and Miami's high temperature was forty-one degrees Celsius.

2.    Atlanta's high temperature of the day was thirty-two degrees Celsius warmer than Anchorage's low temperature of the day.

3.    The difference between Boston's high and low temperature was twelve degrees Celsius.

4.    The difference between Honolulu's high and low temperature was twelve degrees Celsius.

5.    Honolulu's high temperature was not zero degrees Celsius.

6.    Orlando's high temperature of the day was warmer than negative eight degrees Celsius.

7.    Orlando's low temperature was not ten degrees Celsius.

8.    Anchorage had the lowest low temperature of the day.

9.    Miami's low temperature of the day was warmer than sixteen degrees Celsius.

10.    Miami's high temperature of the day was colder than thirty-two degrees Celsius.
