Who is this president?   

____ was born March 29, 1790, at Greenway, the family plantation on the James River. ____'s father was a governor of Virginia and had been a roommate of Thomas Jefferson at the College of William and Mary. In 1813, ____ married Letitia Christian, but she died while in the White House in 1842. When President William Henry Harrison died while in office, ____ became the president. It is said that he was playing marbles with his children when he was told that he was now the president of the United States. President ____ had 15 children - more than any other president! ____ gave several parties at the White House for his children and grandchildren. President ____'s granddaughter, Letitia, was the first girl born in the White House.

Texas left Mexico and had a war with that country while this president was in office.

This man was the only president to hold office in the Confederacy.

This president didn't make an Inaugural Address.

This president's mediation led to the Webster-Ashburton Treaty, which established the boundary of Maine and Canada.

This president once said "Wealth can only be accumulated by the earnings of industry and the savings of frugality."
