5.   Christian helped his mother plant flowers. They planted tulips, daffodils, crocuses, and poppies. They started planting the flowers at 9:30 a.m. They finished planting at 12:30 p.m. How long did it take them to plant the flowers?

6.   Mr. Marr's class has thirteen boys and twelve girls. On Tuesday the class will go on a spring picnic at the park. They will play games. They will eat lunch. Mr. Marr wants to bring two cupcakes for each student in his class. How many cupcakes should Mr. Marr bring?
