4.   The sidewalk is very slippery. Yesterday seventeen people slipped on the sidewalk. Today thirteen people slipped and fell. How many people have slipped on the sidewalk in the last two days?




5.   The children took twenty-one sleds to the top of the hill. All the sleds were red, white, or green. There were six red sleds and five white sleds. How many sleds were green?




6.   Elizabeth is going to knit a sweater. She will need one ball of red yarn, three balls of blue yarn, two balls of white yarn, and one ball of yellow yarn. How many balls of yarn will she need to knit the sweater?
