¹     "Jake, come ON!" Jackie yelled. "We are going to be late."
 
²     Jackie stood on the porch of Jake's house on the first day of school. It seemed like he was forever running late, and she was getting angry.
 
³     After what seemed like an hour, but really wasn't, Jake finally came out of the house.
 
⁴     "What were you doing!?" Jackie demanded.
 
⁵     "Settle down, Jackie," Jake replied. "I just had to get all my school supplies together."
 
⁶     "Why didn't you do that last night?"
 
⁷     "Because I was playing Ninplaybox."
 
⁸     "You and that stupid video game system. Come on. We're going to have to walk faster."
 
⁹     "Why are you in such a rush?"
