Waldo Worm's Watercolor
By Joyce Furstenau

1     Wayne found a wiggly worm. It was in the garden. Wayne put it in a watering can. He put some soil in, too. Wayne brought the whole thing into the house.

2     Wayne wanted to name his worm. He wanted a wiggly, wormy name. He thought a while. He named his wiggly worm Waldo.

3     Wayne put the watering can in his room. He did not put Waldo by the window. He put him on his desk. He set wiggly Waldo next to his watercolors. Then Wayne went out to water the garden.
