1     Aunque murió en 1973, Pablo Ruiz y Picasso es uno de los artistas más famosos del siglo XX. Se lo conoce principalmente por inventar el "cubismo" como estilo de arte, aunque también inventó el collage y trabajó en dibujos, aguafuertes y esculturas, y escribió poesía. ¡Hasta logró entrar en el libro Guiness de Récords Mundiales por crear la mayor cantidad de obras de arte!
 
2     Cuando Pablo Picasso era joven, sus padres reconocieron su talento. Su padre era José Ruiz, un artista español profesor de la Escuela de Bellas Artes, y fue el primer maestro de dibujo de Picasso. Se dice que el pequeño Picasso era inteligente y sensible. Tenía una cara pálida con ojos oscuros y observadores.
 
3     Cuando cumplió 14 años, pintó una serie de pequeñas imágenes de temas religiosos. Estaba haciendo arte "clásico". En 1900, antes de cumplir los 20, Picasso se mudó a París, Francia, que es lo que hacían muchos pintores, ya que París era como un imán para los artistas.
