Hornear Galletas Moldea el Carácter

1     "Hagamos galletas de Navidad", sugirió Ruth. "Es divertido hornear galletas, en especial cuando podemos comerlas".
 
2     "Es una buena idea. Puedes aprender mucho al hornear galletas", dijo su madre.
 
3     "¿Como qué?" preguntó Mary.
 
4     "Bueno, para comenzar podemos aprender cooperación", respondió la madre.
 
5     "Qué es co... co... co... op... eración?" preguntó Sam.
 
6     "Cooperación es trabajar juntos. Es cuando tú tomas el tazón y yo, la harina. Tú pones los huevos y yo los bato", dijo la madre.
 
7     Mary, Sam y Ruth se pusieron sus delantales de cocina. Reunieron todos los ingredientes para preparar las galletas. Se turnaron para agregar los ingredientes y para batir la masa.
 
8     Ruth puso la masa para galletas sobre la mesada y Mary la estiró hasta convertirla en una lámina delgada. Se turnaron con los moldes para galletas: Mary cortó estrellas, Ruth, muñecos de nieve y Sam cortó árboles de Navidad. Luego colocaron las galletas en una bandeja para hornear.
 
9     "Ahora aprederemos sobre la paciencia", dijo la madre.
 
10     "¿Qué es la paciencia?" preguntó Ruth.
 
11     "Es estar dispuesto a esperar a que se horneen las galletas sin quejarse", dijo la madre.
 
12     La madre ayudó a los niños a poner las galletas en el horno y los tres niños esperaron con paciencia a que saliera la primera tanda del horno.
 
13     "¿Podemos comerlas ahora?" preguntó Sam.
