1 Jordan is not a very big country. It has lots of interesting places, though. Most of Jordan's land is desert. Deserts are places where the weather is very dry and hot. Usually, there aren't many plants in deserts. Deserts are usually very sandy places. Almost three-fourths of Jordan's land is deserts. Most of these deserts are in central and east Jordan. The most famous desert in Jordan is called the Rum Desert. There you would find the beautiful Wadi Rum landscape. This landscape is filled with sandstone mountains.![]() |
