Dinner Out
By Beth Beutler

1     It was not your basic burger. A new burger restaurant was now open, and Monica and her family were going to try it. They were a bit late. All Monica's friends had already migrated to "New Zealand Jungle Burgers" and assured her that they were delicious. They said it was like eating a steak.

2     Monica was a little skeptical, but she and her family decided to try it. They pulled up to a small building in the middle of a parking lot. It was like a miniature cedar log home. Parking spots around the stand were scarce. It was packed! It looked like there was a ton of people!

3     The restaurant had cedar walls complete with ancient tools and rifles mounted on them. You could drive up or walk up, but there were no seats inside. There were outdoor tables with cloth umbrellas providing shade, a nice place to sit on a mild day.

4     Monica watched as the drive-through filled up. Monica and her family placed their orders. There weren't many choices. They ordered four mammoth burgers with various toppings. They also ordered a bucket of waffle fries and specialty iced tea that exploded with raspberry flavor.
