Who is this president?   

____ S. ____ was born on May 8, 1884 in Lamar, Missouri. ____ built a reputation for efficiency and absolute honesty in contrast to the bad reputation of many of his political associates. When 50 newspapermen voted on the ten men who had made the greatest contributions to the war effort, ____ was the only legislator on the list. It was late afternoon when Vice President ____ S. ____ had just finished listening to a Senate debate and was given a telephone message. The message asked ____ to get to the White House as soon as possible because President Franklin D. Roosevelt had died in Warm Springs, Georgia.
