  administer   (dmnstūr) verb   
1.  Work in an administrative capacity; supervise.   "administer a program"
2.  Administer or bestow, as in small portions.   "administer critical remarks to everyone present"
3.  Give or apply, as of medications.

  assert   (sūrt) verb   
1.  State categorically.
2.  To declare or affirm solemnly and formally as true.
