Thank You Berry Much

1     "I do not like writing, Grandma," said Thomas.
 
2     "But you really do like your new bike helmet," said Grandma.
 
3     "Yes, Aunt Lisa knows I like green best," said Thomas.
 
4     "You need to tell her that you like it," said Grandma.
 
5     "You could write it for me, Grandma."
 
6     "No. You write the letter. Then Aunt Lisa will know you like the helmet," said Grandma.
 
7     "My grandmother told me a story about letters. Grandfather was a soldier in the Civil War. He did not like to write letters. He did not have ink or paper. But he missed my grandmother very much. He found a way to write letters," said Grandma.
 
8     "How?" asked Thomas.
