Wendy's World- The International Fair
By Jane Runyon

The children were excited. They were going to a fair. Wendy's Uncle Mike was taking them. He told them they would see lots of new things at the fair.

The children looked for rides when they arrived at the fair. There were none. "What kind of fair is this?" asked Wendy.

"It is an International Fair," answered Uncle Mike.

"What is an International Fair?" asked Tim.

"It means there are many different countries with displays at the fair," answered Uncle Mike.

"How do we know where to look?" asked Tess.

"If you know what continent a country is in," said Uncle Mike, "you can find the display."

"I would like to see China," said Wendy. "Where would we find it?'

"China is in Asia," said Uncle Mike. "It would be in the Asian group."

"I want to see Brazil," added Tess.

"Brazil is in the South American group," said Uncle Mike.

"I want to see France," said Tim.

"France is in the European group," said Uncle Mike. "Would anyone like to see Kenya?"

"Yes," the children said all at once.
