2     School is starting. Mikey has new shoes. Brenda has new socks. Juan has a new backpack.
 
3     School is starting. The school bus is here. Seven children get off the bus. Some of them are in Mikey's room.
 
4     School is starting. Mikey sees Ben in the hall. They walk down the hall together.
 
5     School is starting. Mikey finds his classroom. His teacher is Mrs. Brown. She gives Mikey a nametag.
 
6     School is starting. The desks are all in rows. There are twenty desks. Mikey sits in the front.
 
7     School is starting. Mrs. Brown stands in front of the class. Everyone gets quiet.
 
8     School is starting. The class stands to say the flag salute. Then everyone sits down.
 
9     School is starting. Mrs. Brown gives everyone a paper. She tells the class to draw a picture of themselves.
