Little Blue Penguins

¹     The little blue penguin is the smallest of all eighteen species of penguins! With an average height of 16 inches and a weight of 2 pounds, little blue penguins are about 3 times shorter and 33 times lighter than their giant cousins, emperor penguins, who also happen to be the largest of all penguins.
 
²     Except for their white bellies, little blue penguins have bluish gray feathers covering their heads, backs, and wings. Also known as "fairy penguins", "little penguins", or "blue penguins", little blue penguins live in New Zealand and southern Australia.
