Mammals Worksheets

Mammals are a very diverse group of animals that are found on land, in the sea, and in the air. One of the smallest mammals in the world is the bumblebee bat that flies with tiny wings. The largest mammal, the blue whale, lives in the sea, and it is larger even than the dinosaurs. This section offers a wide variety of reading materials about all kinds of mammals. Read about the marsupials, mammals with pouches, and strange, egg-laying mammals like the platypus and the echidna. We also offer a large selection of puzzles, coloring pages, and activities to go along with our stories to extend student learning. It's like a trip to the zoo without leaving the classroom. It's a barnyard menagerie of animals.
