Dr. Dinosaur's Question
By Kathleen W. Redman

What an exciting day! First, the class had met Dr. Dinosaur. He was very smart. He was very funny, too. He talked about his job. He talked about the museum. He talked about dinosaurs.

Now all the students were on the bus. They were going to the museum. They would see a real dinosaur's bones! They would learn about dinosaurs. Dr. Dinosaur would answer their questions. They would have lunch at the museum. It was a very exciting day!

At last they were at the museum. They followed their teacher into the museum. Dr. Dinosaur met them there.

"Hello, everyone," Dr. Dinosaur smiled. "Welcome to my place."

"Hello, Dr. Dinosaur," the students said.

"When can we see a dinosaur?"

     "Where are the dinosaur bones?"

     "How big are dinosaurs?"

     "Where are the dinosaurs now?"

"Whoa, whoa!" Dr. Dinosaur said. "I will answer all your questions. First, I have a question for you."

     "What is a dinosaur?"

The children looked at their teacher. They looked at each other. No one said anything.
