Cambio de Estación

1     Es un día soleado. El cielo era de un azul intenso con algunas nubes blancas y tenues. La brillante luz hacía que las hojas amarillas y anaranjadas brillaran como espejos. La señora Redman señaló los árboles. Quería que los niños vieran que bellos se veían los árboles en esta temporada del año.
 
2     -Sí, Mamá, son muy hermosos,- dijo Dane sin siquiera mirar. -Tengo hambre. ¿Podemos comprar hamburguesas camino a casa?
 
3     -Sí, ¿O tacos?- La hermana pequeña de Dane agregó, estirándose la chaqueta. Las comidas favoritas de Carly eran tacos y nachos, aunque no daría la espalda a hamburguesa con queso.
 
4     La señora Redman suspiró. ¿Por qué su hijo e hija no disfrutaban de la naturaleza tanto como ella? ¿Cuánto sabían acerca del cambio de las estaciones? Se decidió a averiguarlo.
 
5     Al siguiente semáforo, la señora Redman preguntó a los niños. - ¿Saben los nombres de las cuatro estaciones?
 
6     -¡Verano!
 
7     -¡Primavera!
 
8     -¡Invierno!
