WILSON "COPO DE NIEVE" BENTLEY

1     ¿Alguna vez intentaste atrapar un copo de nieve? A Wilson Bentley le gustaban los copos de nieve. Wilson nació el 9 de febrero de 1865 en Vermont. Todos los inviernos había mucha nieve y quería ver cómo se veían los copos de cerca. Era un niño muy curioso, ¡en especial sobre la nieve! Cuando tenía quince años, su mamá le regaló un microscopio, que usó para observar los copos de nieve. Lo sorprendían las formas que veía. Cada pedacito de cristal de hielo tenía seis lados o brazos. Intentó dibujar sus formas, ¡pero no era nada fácil! Los copos de nieve se derretían rápido y las formas eran muy complicadas. ¡No podía dibujar lo suficientemente rápido!
 
2     Entonces, Wilson quiso tomarles fotos. De esa forma, podría estudiarlos por un rato. Intentó distintas cosas. .....
