Andando a rotelle

1     Che cos'è un pattino a rotelle? E' una scarpa o uno stivaletto. Ha due o quattro ruote. Una persona può pattinare su una superficie dura.
 
2     Il pattino a rotelle fu inventato nel Settecento. Fu costruito in Olanda. Un uomo voleva andare a pattinare su ghiaccio durante l'estate. Usò dei rocchetti di legno. Li inchiodò a dei pezzi di legno. Li mise sulle sue scarpe. Erano chiamati ‘skeelers'.
 
3     Nel 1760 Joseph Merlin escogitò un nuovo pattino a rotelle. Egli faceva degli strumenti. Era un inventore. I suoi pattini a rotelle avevano ruote di metallo.
