¹     Anne climbed up on Grandpa's lap. "I'm going to read to you, Grandpa," she said.
 
²     "You're going to feed me?" Grandpa asked.
 
³     "No, Grandpa. I'm going to read to you. This is my book."
 
⁴     "Do I want to look?" Grandpa asked.
 
⁵     "No, Grandpa. This is my book." Anne sighed. She knew it was hard for her grandfather to hear her. She opened the book and started to read.
 
⁶     "I'm sorry, Anne. I can't hear what you are saying. I think it is time for us to take a trip to the audiologist," Grandpa said.
 
⁷     "What's an audiologist?"
 
⁸     "An audiologist tests your hearing. If you don't have good hearing, an audiologist helps you get the right kind of help for your hearing."
 
⁹     The next morning Anne and her grandfather went to an office on Jones Street. It was cool inside. There were some pictures of the insides of ears on the walls. Anne felt a little creepy.
