Things were not going well in Punctuation City. Everyone was very upset. Candi Comma said she had heard a rumor. She told Paul Period.
Paul told Quincy Question Mark.
Quincy told his sister, Quilla Quotation Marks.
Quilla told Ed Exclamation Mark.
Ed told Sal Semicolon.
Sal told Chris Colon.
Chris told everyone he could find!
The rumor got bigger. Soon all the punctuation marks were out in the street. They did not know what to do. They shouted at each other. No one listened. Some of the commas started to cry. The colons and semicolons hid behind the trees.
"Wait!" Ed Exclamation Mark shouted. "Just wait a minute! I don't even know who started the rumor! Someone tell me who started the rumor!"
