A Big Yellow Monster
By Kathleen W. Redman
1 Cameron has his own navy. Do you know what a navy is? It's a group of many ships and boats. Cameron has ten ships and boats. He is captain of them all. Some are small and have guns. Some are big and have sails.
2 Of course, they're not real boats. Cameron's navy is made up of toy boats. He loves to play with them. Sometimes he plays with them outside. He likes to float them in a puddle. Cameron loves his many boats. He sometimes imagines that they are real. Cameron has a good imagination.
3 Cameron doesn't like baths. He likes having his boats in the bathtub with him. His boats make baths more fun. He puts all ten boats in the bath with him. He plays games with them. Sometimes he has a boat race. And sometimes he has a boat battle! Cameron uses his imagination to make things exciting.
