The Perfect Soup

1 Caroline is a picky eater. What does that mean? Caroline will only eat certain foods. She has strong feelings about food. She will eat bacon but won't eat sausage. She will eat cheeseburgers but won't eat hamburgers. She loves orange juice but hates apple juice. Caroline is very picky.
2 Caroline used to hate soup. Her mom made it often. She made all kinds of soups. She made chicken noodle soup. She made tomato soup. She made vegetable soup. She made cream of potato soup. Caroline hated them all. She wouldn't eat any soup. She thought soup was terrible.
3 Caroline's mom got tired of this. She wanted Caroline to eat soup. Many kinds of soup are healthy. Caroline needed to eat soup. Caroline's mom had an idea. She let Caroline make her own soup.
