Different
By Kathleen W. Redman

1     Sometimes I like having a brother. Sometimes I don't like it at all. Some things that I like he doesn't. Some things that he thinks are great I think are silly. Sometimes we just don't agree about anything.

2     Mom said that we are just different. Moms are like that. They always say things that make us feel better. Mom thinks that being different is a good thing. I'm not sure.

3     Oops! I forgot to tell you my name. My name is Jonah. I am in seventh grade. I have big shoulders, and I am strong. I play football. Football is a real sport. Everybody knows about football, don't they?
