1     Mazes are fun. Some are on paper. These are fun to solve. It is fun to draw a line from the start of one to its end. Some are on land. These are fun to explore. Sometimes a farmer plows his field so that it is shaped like a maze. Sometimes a builder uses stones and rocks to build a big maze. But do you think a maze would be fun to eat? It would be if it was maize and not maze! Maize is another name for corn. Maize grows in lots of countries. Most of the world's maize grows in North America. It also grows really well in hot places like South America. It is very colorful. It can be yellow, purple, or red. It can also be green or brown. Maize needs water and sunshine to grow. Farmers plant maize seeds when there is a lot of rain. Big machines sow the seeds into the fields. Then, farmers add fertilizer .....
