1     The seashore is where the ocean meets land. Water flows on the land. Waves splash and crash on the shore. Waves carry sand. Waves carry animals, too.
 
2     At high tide, the ocean comes up high on the shore. Water covers the beach.
 
3     Then the tide ebbs. The water goes back out to sea.
