The Best Room
By Mary Lynn Bushong

1     Dear Grandma and Grandpa,

2     This is Chad. Mom says you like to get letters. I wanted to write one and tell you about my favorite room. This is it. My favorite room is the kitchen.

3     I think I like it best because Mom is there. She cooks good food. It makes the kitchen smell good. The good smells help make me hungry. Is your kitchen full of good smells, too?
