School Is Ending

School is ending. The school bus arrives at school. It is the last day. Seven children get off the bus. Some of them are in Mikey's room. Each of them carries a sack with rags for cleaning desks.
School is ending. Mrs. Brown's class says the flag salute together for the last time this year. The class says today's date for the last time. They say the class motto together for the last time.
School is ending. Children are cleaning out their desks. The teacher is cleaning out her cupboards. The boards have all been washed clean.
School is ending. It is time to take down all the artwork. Mikey takes his caterpillar picture. Benny takes down his butterfly picture. Mrs. Brown takes down her bulletin board.
School is ending. Mikey takes his nametag off his desk. Mikey puts all his school supplies in a paper bag. He uses a wet rag to wash off his desk.
School is ending. The clean desks are stacked in a corner of the classroom. The chairs are stacked neatly beside them.
