Cumulonimbus Clouds

There are different kinds of clouds. Clouds can be big. Clouds can be small. When you see a cloud, you are seeing water in the air. Clouds are made of tiny drops of water. (Some clouds are made of ice.) Clouds are blown about by the wind. Clouds can help you know what the weather might do. Some clouds look like tall towers with anvils on top. They are huge, dark clouds. Some are as tall as a mountain! These clouds have a big name. They are cumulonimbus (cue-mew-low nim-bus) clouds. "Nimbus" means rain.
