Keith Interviews Miguel, the Brown Spider Monkey

"Good morning, boys and girls. As always, I'm Keith Trace, the host of Amazing Animals. Today, we're talking to an unusual character. His name is Miguel. He's a brown spider monkey from South America. He's running a little bit late today. Miguel, how have you been?"

"Been great Keith, thanks. Sorry about being late. My friends and I were backstage messing around."

"I noticed. You're here with four of your friends."

"Yes. They're my good friends. My best friends. I have been around them all my life."

"We'll get to them in a minute. Can you tell me about yourself?"

"Sure, Keith. I'm a brown spider monkey. I live in Colombia. Lots of my family and friends live in Central and South America. We like the rainforests there."

"Why are you called a spider monkey?"

"I'm sure you noticed my arms, legs, and tail. They're really long. Compared to my body, they look like spider legs. My body can grow up to twenty inches long, but my tail can be up to thirty-five inches long! We get picked on a lot in school, Keith."

"That's too bad."
