Eva liked to play baseball. She could hit the ball. She could catch the ball. She could run very fast. She was a good baseball player.
There was one problem. Eva had red hair.
Eva's brother played baseball. He had black hair. Her sister played baseball. She had brown hair. Her father had played baseball. He had blonde hair. Her mother had played baseball. She had black hair.
No one with red hair had ever played baseball.
Eva went to the high school.
"I would like to play baseball," she said.
"Not on our team!" the coach told her.
Eva went to the middle school.
