"Gumball Number Bonds Up to 10" is a fun learning center that helps students practice addition skills up to 10. It features 10 number bond cards for students to complete, but instead of writing numbers, the worksheets feature gumball machines. Students put the total number of gumballs in the gumball machine, or they put the gumballs in one of the addend circles. There are 10 total cards for students to complete, along with a practice worksheet where they can use dry-erase markers to color in the gumballs.

The learning center includes 36 gumball cutouts, but you can also use pom-poms. You can further support the development of addition skills by asking students to match the colors of the gumballs with the gumballs on the number bond cards. For example, if a green, yellow, and blue gumball is in the gumball machine and a blue gumball is in one of the addend circles, students put one green gumball and one yellow gumball in the other addend circle.

Materials include everything you need to set up the center, including a Gumball Bonds cutout you can use as the label on the bin, an example that shows students what to do, and a folder cover. Teacher and student instructions are also included so you can set up and start using the learning center right away.
