Let's practice multiplication with strip models! Follow the example and complete the challenge.

A strip model lets you see multiplication in action! For example, in 5 x 6, start by splitting a long strip into 5 equal groups, then write 6 in each group. Next, you can use repeated addition to add 6 five times, or multiply the number of groups by the number in each group. Both methods give you the same answer, 30, but the second one is faster. Write the result on top of the strip. Now that you know how strip models for multiplication work, grab your pencil and try solving five problems on your own!
